Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the Executive Director of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations
TASHKENT, July 8. On July 6, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov met with members of the delegation led by Executive Director of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations Michael Harms, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
Michael Harms expressed his opinion on the large-scale reforms being carried out in the country, positive changes in the life of the state and society.
It was noted that representatives of the German business community consider Uzbekistan as a country with investment and export potential, which increases interest in further development of bilateral relations.
The importance of taking concrete measures to implement joint projects in the energy, mechanical engineering, mineral processing and textile industry was emphasized.
Information and communication technologies were noted as a promising direction for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany. An agreement was reached to study the issue of organizing presentations on Uzbekistan’s IT capabilities in European countries.
The main attention was paid to the involvement of German companies and specialists in the development of the vocational education system in Uzbekistan.
